ABOUT
ARCHIOPTERYX

ARCHIOPTERYX is an Architect led, design build firm :  delivering ‘bespoke architecture for harmonious-living’.Founded in the year 2002, the firms approach to architecture is of intuitive discovery, based on Akshay’s inquiries into the psychological undercurrents of SCULPTED VOLUMES in space.

Archiopteryx draws inspiration from the everyday and routine, capturing behaviour and translating it into form, ruminating and rummaging in the sub-conscious, till the appearance of structures are decoded into design. The practise has designed for fashion designers, wildlife film makers, writers and artists from everyday fields, with its core theme as ‘Harmonious-Living’: an endeavour to bring animals, plants, insects and humans together to further sustainability and general well-being.
